Administered by the Kapuskasing Economic Development Corporation, the MAT Fund provides financial support to groups, organizations, and businesses aiming to boost tourism in Kapuskasing. By funding initiatives like festivals, events, marketing campaigns, and tourism product development, we strive to enhance visitor experiences, grow tourism, and increase overnight stays in our community.

Please review the following funding windows and notification timelines. During these windows, applications will be reviewed by the Kapuskasing Tourism Development Committee, which will evaluate the potential of projects to enhance our community's economic vitality. Recommendations will then be submitted to the KEDC Board of Directors, who will make final decisions.
